Connections
As one of the Evangelical Churches of Macedonia we exist alongside 20 national churches and 15 national pastors.  We share the opportunity of winning Macedonia with them, and as our local network of churches, we work closely alongside of them in multiple streams.  Yet those streams of interconnected work are largely unseen on Sunday mornings, because all of them are leading their churches in Macedonian, as we lead our church in English.  Its great to be a part of something larger than we are by ourselves.  We are planning to spend eternity together, and we are making a good beginning of that.

Other Teams
Also Lousie Kampen heads up our Sunday School (We need more volunteers for SS!!), Matt Spivak heads up our chair crew (starting this Fall), Carolyn Gibson our worship coordinator, Martin Hoskings our Men's group, Carolyn Gibson our Women's group, Peter Kampen our social calendar and our small groups and Carl Schuler is the point person for our International Youth Group.  Plus we have multiple volunteers in many many other areas as well, I can't list them all, because I don't even know who they all are myself!  But God keeps perfect count and we do what we do because of Him.  Every person is a leader!  You are ICS and we are what we are because of you!

Preaching Team
It would be wonderful if you took the time to thank our preaching team occasionally.  Brian Richards, Martin Hoskings, and Carl Schuler use their gifts to serve us week after week.  These men and women give of their time and effort freely, and are constantly honing the craft and working together as a group to delve into Gods word for our benefit.  They should be thanked often.  They work tirelessly to provide insightful and thoughtful reflections on God's word, and most of all, they have to work with me!  I am a difficult person to work with and please.  I am thankful for the ways that these folks serve us.

Leadership Team
We also want to remind you that your leadership team is here to serve.  Peter and Louise Kampen, Kim Spivak and I are available to you.  If you wish to invest and serve, please see one of us to find out where you could best serve.  Of course we are also here to answer questions and to resolve challenges that we may face as a congregation.  Thank you for coming directly to me or a member of the leadership team if you have need of information or wish to assist in any way.

Safety
First of all safety.  While nothing has happened, we still want to remind you all that our church meets in a public place, where anyone can come and go whenever they wish.  It is not a controlled environment.  So it would be prudent for all of us to be aware of where our children are at all times and be aware that people not connected to our congregation could come onto the campus.  This is not to frighten anyone, simply a gentle reminder that we meet in a public place and that we need to have a reasonable amount of care for our congregants, especially our children.  Thank you for helping us be a safe environment for everyone to meet and worship God freely.

How we got started
Missionaries of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA) were the core team that started ICS in October 2006 at the encouragement of the National Church President, Mirche Andreev.  While ICS is not a CMA church, we do owe a large debt of gratitude for the service of CMA people in ICS over the years.  Thank you!

Church Governance

We follow a pastoral form of church governance with our leadership team in an advisory and co-laboring capacity.  This mirrors the Evangelical churches of Macedonia of which we are one church.
